£4,238.00 Grant from the Big Lotter Fund

The Get Together team was delighted to be awarded an Awards For All Grant from the Big Lottery Fund in 2015.

The grant of £4,238.00 allowed us to embark on a training programme which was made available to local families and professionals who wanted to learn more about autism and how best to support those with the condition.

The course was a fabulous success for our team who were able to further their own skills and therefore share it with the families who attend our sessions or who contact us in need of support and information.

The Big Lottery Fund is responsible for giving out 40% of the money raised for good causes by the National Lottery.

The Fund is committed to bringing real improvements to communities and the lives of people most in need and has been rolling out grants to health, education, environment and charitable causes across the UK. Since its inception in 2004 we have awarded close to £6bn.

The Fund was formally established by Parliament on 1 December 2006.
